EL AL Israel Airlines is introducing a temporary “Fly with Peace of Mind” service to
address customer concerns amid recent uncertainty, allowing new flight bookings to
be canceled for any reason with a full credit voucher at no extra cost.
The program applies to new ticket purchases made starting Monday for a two-week
period. Passengers can cancel up to 48 hours before departure and receive a credit
voucher for the full ticket amount, with no additional fees. The offer covers flights to
and from all EL AL destinations with departures or arrivals until March 17, excluding
LITE tickets and bonus tickets.
EL AL emphasized that the service is provided free of charge at the time of booking
and is available through the airline’s website or travel agents.
In addition, the airline is bolstering its service call centers starting Monday to better
handle inquiries from customers with existing bookings who wish to make changes.
Centers operate 24/7 and process thousands of requests daily, though
reinforcements may not fully prevent longer wait times due to high volume.
